About Sharon
Walking beside you, not ahead of you.

I’ve spent my working life alongside people at some of the hardest points in their lives — in social work, youth mental health, crisis services and counselling.
What I’ve learned is that people are often far more capable than they’ve been allowed to believe. Many have had to raise themselves emotionally, looking after everyone else while nobody really asked what they needed.
My aim isn’t to keep you in counselling. It’s to help you understand what’s happening, recognise your own strengths and values, and build practical ways forward — so that over time you need less support, not more.
Sessions may draw on counselling and practical approaches including CBT skills, DBT-informed skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy principles, strengths-based and solution-focused work, and family-systems-informed thinking where appropriate.
